Okay, i never, ever thought I'd do this. And, before you even think of posting criticisms of what it is that I'm on here looking for, (in other words, your general pessimism) just consider that it will be a waste of your and my time. well, now that I've gotten that little disclaimer out of the way, let me get to the purpose of why I am choosing to create a topic here. I am single and tired of being that way. I've had my share of flings, friends with benefits and everything in between. Yes, there have been a couple relationships, but they were quite a long time ago. I am 25 and it has occurred to me that I have come to a point in my life where the superficial is no longer satisfactory for me. I want something deeper. ... I know I am probably wasting time and character space in casting my net in this particular direction, however I just thought I'd put it out there into the zone world that I am looking to get to know someone who is, as I am, ready for something serious. The only thing I ask is that you not be a smoker, (or at least be willing to quit) that you have good hygene and that you be a straight man seeking a straight woman. If you're serious about your persuit as I am, please reply.

You assume posting criticism will be a waste of both our time. I find posting criticism to be refreshing and stress relaving so it won't be a waste of my time. Have you ever considered trying eHarmony? It's a wonderful site. I tried it and there so good at filtering out idiots and desporit losers they rejected me. Wait come to think of it they'll probably reject you to.
Yeah, I've tried e harmony and ... they did not reject me. However, I did not know that it was a Christian dating service until I'd signed up and was getting all these matches from all these guys who basically wanted a subserviant, obedient wife who would follow their wishes. and oh yeah, did I mention that all of those guys mentioned god in their profile more than a dozen times?? I myself am a Christian however, I am not as conservative as those folks on there, so I decided that that sight wasn't for me and canceled the membership which was too high-priced anyway ... So now I'm here ...
There's nothing wrong with coming here but you probably wouldn't wanna treat this place as a dating site as such, 'cause you're apt to find the wrong sort of people. That's not meant as a criticism; I'm sure you'll do whatever works best for you, but I tend to think in a place like this, if you just make a bunch of new friends who happen to be guys and only aim for that, you'll maximise your chances of finding the right person to take the extra step with. Good luck with it however you go about it.
Lol, that's basically what I'm doing except I'm ramping it up a bit, as it were. no, I don't consider this place a dating site ... now, were I a horney nymphomaniac and wanted a screw buddy, this might be the place to advertise for that. but no seriously, if I really thought this was the only avenue for me, my profile would look like those found on dating sites. ... And don't worry, I did not take what you said as a criticism, smile.
first, don't worry about others' critisisms. each and everyone may not be having the same feeling which I'm having. so I think we shouldn't mind about them.
Be brave and do which is correct to your mind. That's what I do.

Honestly I've found the best guy I could ever ask for here, and he is someone I could see myself sharing my whole life with. Don't go looking. It comes when you least expect it. :d
If you were a man doing this you'd face criticism. However, as a woman doing this, you should be Okay. Even Jared went light on you, comparatively speaking.

Several couples have met here and are still together. No site, dating, or otherwise is a sure thing. Any relationship will also not be a sure thing. She must be smart, funny, love animals and know where she is going in life. I would like a girl that can cook and clean cause i like to do both.
